Noah’s Red Hot Hot Rod

Regulator’s Racing

When desert truck racer Noah Ostanik set out to find a capable  prerunning machine he knew he wanted something a little different than just another truck.  Affectionately known as Country Clubbers, truck racers are at home glacially yet gracefully soaking up huge holes with their seemingly unending feet of suspension travel and enormous displacement engines.  This is great for long chewed up races but Noah wanted something lighter and more nimble for stop and go prerunning.  Intrigued by what these buggies might be capable of, Noah embarked on a 2 plus year build.

He started with a brand new roller and enlisted the expertise help of Seth Walther at B&R Buggie to undertake the project and see it through to the end.  When Noah finally got to drive his car his grin lasted for days.  He was amazed about the power to weight ratio and the agility it cultivated.   This, coupled with a sequential transaxle and cutting brakes made for a thrilling drive. Having satisfied his curiosity about a buggy’s capabilities , he is now thinking of building a class 1 race car.
